Charles is the senior member of the firm. He read jurisprudence at Oxford University and was admitted as a solicitor in October 1984. Charles trained and worked as a solicitor in London before joining masefield permanently in 1987 making him the fifth Masefield generation to work in this practice as a solicitor.
Charles qualified as a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) in October 2003. Charles specialises in wills, estates and property.

Linda was admitted as a solicitor on 1st April 2010. Linda joined the firm in 2007 as a secretary. While raising her young family, Linda studied for a degree with the Open University graduating in 2003. She completed the Legal Practice Course with a commendation at the College of Law in Birmingham in 2007 before beginning her training contract with the firm in February 2008.
Linda became an associate member of the firm in July 2011.

Jemma was admitted as a solicitor in July 2009. Jemma joined the firm in 2004 as a secretary whilst studying towards her degree which she obtained in Law & Criminology from Lincoln University in 2005. She completed the Legal Practice Course with a distinction at the College of Law in Birmingham in 2007 before beginning her training contract with the firm in July 2007.

Claire was admitted as a solicitor on 15th August 2009. She joined the firm in 2007 as a secretary having gained a degree in law at DeMontfort University in 2006. Claire completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England (Bristol) in 2007 and started her training contract with the firm in August 2007.

Helen joined the firm in October 2002. She qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in July 1986. Helen began her legal career in a London firm in 1978 dealing with probate and residential conveyancing. She then spent some years working on a self employed basis preparing tax returns and related claims until 1998 when she returned to a London practice as a probate assistant. In 2000 Helen and her family moved away to Hereford and she took a position in Herefordshire Council's property department until joining the firm in 2002.

Emma joined masefield in 1999 quickly progressing to become a legal secretary within the litigation department in 2000. She began training as a legal executive in 2001. In October 2003 Emma left to work in Hereford for a while before returning as a fee earner in our private client department in March 2005. She became a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in October 2008.
