Conveyancing & Property

Selling a property

Today, sellers benefit from being well prepared before offering a property for sale. High standards maintained by the Land Registry and new legislation designed to speed up conveyancing make it worthwhile to plan ahead.

You will need guidance on what a buyer will expect in terms of title, planning and building regulation documents, certificates, indemnities and insurances.

If you are buying a property, you will usually want your sale to be synchronised with your purchase at contract stage and completion.

If you are retaining land, you will need advice on reserving and granting appropriate rights for access and services, covenants restrictive of how land can be used and making provision for new boundaries.
